The Little Nell in Aspen more than earns its reputation as one of the country’s leading luxury hotels and their flawless service sets a new standard.

The Atmosphere

The Little Nell sits at the bottom of Aspen’s Ajax Mountain and is the only ski-in ski-out hotel in town. The ninety-two stylish guest rooms and suites form a horseshoe around the central pool area and the lower slopes are within touching distance.

The hotel’s design is contemporary and elegant but this never comes at the cost of warmth or homeliness. From Mark Albrecht bar stools and a Tristan Auer Mystere coffee table to Maya Romanoff wall coverings, designer Holly Hunt has recently led the hotel’s renovation with her ‘Aspen Modern’ aesthetic.

While no luxury has been spared in your physical surroundings, it is the stellar quality of the staff that truly sets The Little Nell apart. From the moment you arrive, to the time you say a sad goodbye, you are looked after with the utmost grace and attention to detail. You’ll barely need to touch your skis until you arrive at the lift, with the ski concierge team handling transport to all four mountains. No request was seemingly too difficult for the front desk to handle and they’re refreshingly friendly towards little ones.

Your Room

The rooms are spacious and uncluttered with muted colors offset by eye-catching pieces of contemporary art and fresh flowers. We love the rooms with mountain views, some of which you could literally hop out of the window and onto the slopes. For a larger family and a more residential feel, consider one of the stunning suites.

Eat & Drink

For a fine dining experience and a gargantuan wine list, head to Element 47, and for some of the liveliest apres-ski in town, Ajax Tavern is the place to be.
