A secluded boutique hotel in Santa Barbara with only fifteen rooms and set in beautiful gardens.

The Atmosphere

The Simpson House Inn is located in a quiet, leafy backstreet of Santa Barbara and staying here you’ll get a real taste of why this town is one of the most desirable places to live in California.

The main building is a beautifully restored Victorian home that was built in 1874, but it is the garden that really sets this charming small hotel apart.

A huge old English oak sits at the back by the cottages, while the wooden benches and deck chairs nestled between the flower beds are the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine.

Your Room

Rooms are divided into those in the main building, which stay true to their Victorian heritage, and the beautiful garden cottages and carriage house, which have a much more contemporary, beach house feel.

Need to Know

The Inn serves a full breakfast, as well as wine and hor d’oeuvres in the evening. For dinner, you are walking distance from a host of great spots in downtown Santa Barbara.
